I love grapefruit because it blends so well with so many oils. It will add an uplifting note of sunshine to any blend. It has astringent and cooling properties. Diffusing will help deodorize and add a positive energy to any room. It is a possible appetite stimulant and can also be helpful in headache or nausea blends. It can also help reduce fluids when applied to swollen areas of the skin. See safety notes below. Diffuse away if your day is feeling gray!!!

: Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) has a high percentage of d-limonene (Monoterpene) which has been researches to be analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiobesity, antioxidant, antitumoral, antiulcerogenic, immune-stimulant, activates white blood cells, and is a skin penetration enhancer.
SAFETYFOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Phototoxic (may cause skin discoloration if exposed to UV rays, natural or artificial). May cause skin irritation, especially if the oil is past its “best by” date. Use in low dilution (1%) when applying to the skin, such as in bath or massage oils. Keep out of reach of children.
